Is CBD Legal?

Can You Get High From CBD?

No. CBD is 100% non-psychoactive, meaning that it works on the body, not the brain – so cannot get you high. THC is the compound in cannabis that gets a user high, which is either absent in commercially available CBD oils or present in such small and legal amounts that the ‘high’ effect does not apply.

What’s The Difference Between ‘FULL SPECTRUM’ AND ‘BROAD SPECTRUM’?

Our Full Spectrum oil contains all the active compounds found in the cannabis plant, including other cannabinoids such as CBG, CBN, CBC, CBDA and trace amounts of THC terpenes, vitamins and amino acids (in quantities so small they still can’t get you high!) The active compounds found in the cannabis plant work together (like an orchestra) more effectively than on their own. This is known as the Entourage Effect.

Our Broad Spectrum oil is very similar to Full Spectrum except that it does not contain THC. So if you’re in a profession or sport where you may be drug tested, it would be advisable to opt for our Broad Spectrum oil which is totally THC free. Is CBD Addictive?

CBD is not addictive, it has no psychoactive effects. CBD may help your feel relaxed and less anxious but will not get you high. The World Health Organization has done a very extensive study on the potential addictiveness of CBD. That study concluded that CBD is non-habit forming and is not addictive.

Does CBD Oil Have Side Effects?

From the thousands of clinical trials conducted on CBD, no severe side effects have been recorded. The World Health Organisation reported that CBD is well tolerated, has a good safety profile and doesn’t appear to be a risk for abuse, dependence or other public health related problems. What is the Correct CBD Dosage for me? 

The correct dosage of CBD depends on various factors (including body weight, type of symptoms). It is generally recommended ‘to start low and go slow. Increasing gradually, until you find a level that works for you.

We suggest a CBD dosage of 1-2 mg per 10lbs (4.5kg) of body weight, taken 2 – 3 times per day after meals.

Our 10ml bottles contain 200 drops and a 10% strength 1000mg bottle has 5 mg in each drop. So for a person of 140lbs (64kg), that would suggest 14–28 mg per dose or 3-6 drops.
